Where have we been???

OMG I've been away from here since March! Well, Both girls are fine, crazy and as darlin' as ever, tho they're a handful!!! Both are about 50lbs, and go for daily runs with me, and love to race around the yard! We got a baby pool, and Izzy wants nothing to do with it, but Cleo will hop in. I'm really looking forward to taking them to the lake to see what happens. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.

We've been training with what opportunities present themselves...I really need to make time each day and work individually with them, but things are hectic with summer coming, and graduation, camp and college for kids in the fall. Maybe in September things will be so we can breathe.

I'm a bit concerned how they'll do at the kennel for a bit over a week, but the staff loves them, so I'm sure they'll get
lotsa attention :)

Our moms a slacker...

yep, its been awhile....last vets weigh in Izzy is now 50.1lbs, Cleo is still at 43lbs! From my reading she'll prolly gain only muscle at this point...Izzy on the other hand, well, shes gotta lotta more to go!
Training has been fine, though I could work them more than I do, recall is 50/50, but theyre still little..
heres a darlin vid...

Whats with all the white stuff on the ground??? Wait, there's some comin outta the sky...

...it's SNOW!! Our very first snow, and it was so much fun!! At first it kinda scared us, but then we both realized, it tastes good!!! its cold and crunchy like Ice cubes mommy gives us outta her cup...its kinda slippery, and we tumbled and ran and ran....

wheeeee!

We have a new favorite activity! Mommy has an old bike which she rides(carefully so we don't get runnded over!)around our neighborhood and we run, walk, trot alongside.
Its lotsa fun, and its a great way to get enough xcersize withoug pooping poor mom out! We still pull a lil bit, but thats only 'cause we see a bird or a cat along the way.
Sometimes she rides fast and we get to run hard, which is way fun!

Maybe once mom is sure we won't make her wreck she can take a video of us...we are such camera hogs! BTW, its time for more pics...mom's fav thing now is upsidedown pics...she hopes one will be good 'nuf to submit to upsidedowndogs.com!

Well, our girls are at 7 mos....Izzy is now 48lbs, Cleo(who's older by 3 weeks) is at 43lbs. Thats 5+, and 3+ from last month!!

Izzy now just bulldozes her sister anytime theyre playing....she is a chunk!!

Our moms a slacker, but we're so good anyway...

Just imagine how good we'd be if she actually dedicated time training us every day...but then again, she's always telling us to 'do' something!

We are working on always sitting when she puts on our leashes--which is hard since we're so xcited to go somewhere!!--and when we're walking she says 'stop' and then we can't go anywhere until we sit for a few seconds...
Theyre getting so big...we gotta weigh them in another week or so for our advantadge multi...
Yes my girls are doing great....I still have to leash them when they go potty, but outside play is better, they dont start to run off, when they head off that direction I call and they circle around back. Izzy is more of a challenge--it must be the hardheaded-ness that she gets, um well from both dalmatian and Lab sides.
I really need to dedicate time separately, and work Izzy's recall...oh and nights they aren't chewing up the bed anymore....thats good, plus I put the top on their 'pen' so they cant move all over the room.

Housetraining is pretty much a done deal, save Cleo's 'nervous-pee :0 when shes gotta go even just a bit, and someone gets her all worked up...ugh...but I've been trying to anticipate ppl arriving, and keeping tabs on when they drink...
On a side note, the pinch collars I got are amazing...they make walking and working with them much more manageable. :)
